MCTF Opens Season at JC

WILLIAMS AND THOMAS BAG TOP MARKS
MCTF opened up at the 2011 JC/WATA Invitational last Saturday (Jan. 8th). Once again the meet proved to be an excellent platform for getting the motor running.

Delano Williams and Herbert Thomas had top marks in their respective events on the day. The new and improved Williams, who was a finalist for the 2010 Commonwealth Youth Award, clocked 10.36 to win the Class I 100m. Herbert "Kesno" Thomas had the fastest time on the day for the Class II 1500m with a time of 4:25.22 which was almost four seconds faster than second place finisher Dominic Powell of KC in 4:29.08.

Other top ten finishers at the meet were:

MCTF next moves onto the Puma/JAAA meet at Kirkvine on the 15th where we will be fielding a squad of 57.
